Kaye grew up listening to the voice of Vera Lynn, “The Forces Sweetheart.”

​

More recently Kaye has grown in her appreciation of the deep love and sacrificial commitment that so personified Vera to the service men and women of World War Two.

 

Her narrated tribute show runs for just over an hour, with husband Mike Kelly providing sound and lighting. Mike welcomes the audience prior to the show with classic tunes from the forties on his orchestral keyboard.

The beauty and power of Kaye's voice and the songs of that era still evoke the strongest feelings of nostalgia in the listener as they carry you back to those war years on wings of song.
